BMW M5 crashes in Germany at 300km/h (186mph)

If you had any doubts about the safety of the BMW M5, you can rest assured as this horrific accident attests to the benefits of German engineering.


According to M5 post, a 60 year old driver was travelling approximately 300 km/h (186mph) when he lost control while swerving to avoid another motorist.


The car bound off the central reservation and rolled several times before ending up on the grass alongside the Autobahn.


Thankfully the driver and passenger survived but both sustained serious injuries.
